favourite stuff from may 2014

I don't really do hauls or product reviews on my blog because I don't want to encourage people to go out and buy stuff that they don't need. But nothing here costs more than £5, so I think I can break this rule for once. So here's a peek of what I loved in May.

Assorted stationery
Plastic cups in light pastel
It's hard to get a hold of pretty stationery in Belfast I indulged myself in Muji while I was back in Singapore. Especially since I'm planning to take more classes at Queen's in autumn. I also picked up these four plastic cups from the toiletries section. I think they're meant to hold toothbrushes but I drink water from them and also eat ice cream out of them. *grin*

I love eating out of this coral bowl from the IKEA PS 2014 collection
The Vert (Lipton), Lemon, Ginger and Manuka Honey (Pukka) and Chai Tea Latte (Dolce Gusto)
I picked up Lipton's The Vert from Carrefour while in Paris and I wished I got more. I like this much more than the Casablanca tea (Moroccan mint and bergamont) from Mariage Freres. I also love that the tea leaves are wrapped in cloth, like a little ball.

I picked up the Lemon, Ginger and Manuka Honey tea from Waitrose in London but I've since seen this in Belfast. But I picked up 3 boxes so I'm good for a while.

I'm not a big fan of Chai Tea Latte but I wanted to give this one from Dolce Gusto a go and I'm glad I did. Just the right balance of spice and tea, but if you like your chai spicy, you might not like this one.

Favourite YouTube channel: Crash Course
I think the content on this channel is targeted at secondary and high school students but I'm really enjoying their series on Literature. I really love their series on World History as well. I really like the way John Green is able to present complex issues in a way that is easy to understand but still thought-provoking. It's funny and has great graphics too!

Summer's round the corner, I hope you have an awesome one!
